Brian Eno (pronounced ) (born Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno on 15 May 1948 in Woodbridge, Suffolk) is an English electronic musician, music theorist and record producer. As a solo artist, he is probably best known as the father of modern ambient music.
